With over 300,000 projected visitors, the nationally-acclaimed Mount Dora Craft Fair is not your run-of-the-mill town festival.

For locals, it’s an annual must-do. For out of town visitors, the fair offers a chance to browse some of the country’s highest ranked artisans, who dabble in dozens of types of jewelry, artwork, and assorted crafts.

All vendors are selected by a jury, meaning guests only get to see the best of what each category has to offer.

Celebrating its 29th anniversary this year, the Lake County-sponsored fair has delighted previous guests with local food and entertainment options (previous years have hosted free concerts by Rio and Hindu Cowboys, to name a few.)

This year, guests can browse over 350 booths throughout Mount Dora Downtown—with local eateries and food courts to choose from along the way.

The Craft Fair will be held October 26 and 27, from 9 am to 5 pm. Guests are advised to arrive early for private parking at local churches and banks, which will cost $5 to $10. Shuttles will also depart from stops including Mount Dora High School and Golden Triangle Shopping Center throughout the day, for a flat charge of $5.
